What is the Year of Mercy?

In April 2015, Pope Francis said “Jesus Christ is the face of the Father’s mercy…..We need constantly to contemplate the mystery of mercy. It is a wellspring of joy, serenity, and peace. Our salvation depends on it." As we enter into this Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, let us prepare our minds and our hearts by learning about the rich treasury of the Catholic Faith.

The Education Vicariate is publishing a Year of Mercy booklet containing a number of resources that will offer reflections, virtue education, and important catechesis on how the Church understands Mercy during this Jubilee Year.
